Kandjabanga Fishing Pty Ltd is not a company that happened to end up in the fishing industry. It is a company that was forged in Namibia's struggle for sovereignty, shaped by its coastline, and built to ensure that the wealth of the Benguela Current belongs to Namibian hands.
Kandjabanga Fishing was founded in 2018 by Namibian war veterans who spent decades fighting for a country they believed in. When that fight was won, they turned to the next: ensuring that Namibia's natural wealth did not pass through Namibian waters and land in foreign hands.
The Benguela Current runs cold and rich along this stretch of the South Atlantic. Cape Hake and Horse Mackerel move through these waters in volumes that have sustained coastal communities for generations. Kandjabanga was built to intercept that value at the source, process it on Namibian soil, and deliver it to international markets as a product of Namibian labour.
We are headquartered at Ref 869 Industrial Road, Lüderitz. This is not a satellite office. It is where the work is done.
Namibia's ocean resources should generate Namibian income, Namibian jobs, and Namibian futures. We will not settle for extraction.
HACCP certified from the moment of catch. Every tonne graded, logged, and cold-chained before it leaves Lüderitz. No shortcuts at any point in the process.
The Karas Region gives us our harbour, our workers, and our purpose. We give back through deliberate local employment and respect for the communities we operate within.
